Loved SAii Phi Phi!

I just got back from SAii Phi Phi Island Village and it was incredible! I booked a beachfront bungalow and the view was out of this world. The water sports activities were so much fun, I tried paddleboarding for the first time. The staff were super friendly and the food at the beachfront dining was delicious. I'm already planning my next trip, maybe to the Maldives location next time!

Good stay, nice location

Stayed at SAii Laguna Phuket. Got a garden view room, it was clean. Used the poolside bars a few times. Check-in was quick. Location was good, easy to get around.

Maldives honeymoon was perfect

We booked the SAii Lagoon Maldives honeymoon package for our trip. Booking online was straightforward, and we chose the all inclusive upgrade which made things easy. We had an overwater villa and it was stunning. The transfers from the airport were arranged smoothly, took about 20 minutes by speedboat. We did a diving excursion and a sunset cruise; both were well-organized. The spa treatments were a nice touch, very relaxing. Customer service helped us clarify a few things before arrival and they were quick to respond. Overall, a fantastic experience that lived up to expectations.

Do they do all-inclusive meal plans at the SAii hotels, especially the ones in Maldives or Phi Phi? Or is it mostly just breakfast included?

S Sandra 2 weeks ago
They totally offer all-inclusive upgrades! I did it for my stay in Phi Phi. It's usually an add-on option during booking or you can inquire after you've made your reservation. Super convenient for island resorts.

Yeah, they do. I saw the option for an all-inclusive upgrade at SAii Lagoon Maldives, though I just went with breakfast included to try out different places. It's not always advertised front and center but it's there.

Thinking of booking SAii Lagoon Maldives for December, is that a good time or is it super packed/crazy expensive then? Also, what's the deal with airport transfers there?

A Andrew L. 1 week ago
December is peak season for sure, expect higher prices and more people. It's gorgeous though! As for transfers, I think SAii Lagoon does include them, or at least they did when I went a couple years ago. It's usually a boat from the airport.

December is definitely a busy time, but for Maldives it's also probably the best weather. Prices will reflect that. Most resorts in the Maldives arrange your transfers, it's usually part of the booking process or they'll contact you about it. Don't worry about figuring that out yourself.

planning a honeymoon for next year and looking at SAii. is it worth it compared to say, an Anantara or Dusit Thani? prices seem similar but I want to make sure the vibe is right.

J Jeff 2 weeks ago
SAii is a bit more 'lifestyle' focused, I'd say. Very modern and chic, but still super relaxing. Anantara can sometimes feel a bit more traditional luxury, if that makes sense. Depends on what you're looking for.

I've stayed at both SAii Phi Phi and a Dusit Thani in Thailand. SAii felt a bit more geared towards younger couples and families with a more playful, vibrant atmosphere. Dusit was beautiful too, but perhaps a bit more subdued. For a honeymoon, SAii's island vibes are pretty spot on.

Anyone know if SAii has like, a proper promo code box during checkout? Or is it all those 'deal pages' they link to? Trying to see if I can stack anything.

M Matt Smith 3 weeks ago
They do have a promo code field, I've seen it. But honestly, most of their best deals are through specific links like for early bird or long stay offers, not typically something you'd type in a generic code for.

I've never successfully stacked anything with them. Usually, if you go through a specific 'package' page, that's the deal you get. The code box is probably more for corporate stuff or very specific promotions, not general public coupon codes you find online.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how the 'resident rate' works? Is it just for Thailand residents or like, if I live in the US but visit a lot, could I get it?

K Kyle Hall 9 hours ago
Nah, pretty sure 'resident rate' usually means you gotta be a resident of the country where the hotel is located. So for the Thailand ones, it'd be for Thai residents.

Yeah, I tried to get it for a stay in Phuket last year and they asked for proof of residence in Thailand. It's not just like a frequent visitor thing, unfortunately.
